Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs

Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs

Looking for a fun alternative to traditional Easter egg dying? Use spices to dye your Easter eggs naturally! A few fun options...paprika, turmeric, beet powder, hibiscus or  butterfly pea blossom. Just add a couple tablespoons of spice to two cups of water ad simmer for a few minutes. Cool, strain and add 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Submerge eggs and store in refrigerator overnight for deepest color. Remove and allow to air dry. Store in original container in refrigerator . Note: ours were still a bit damp when stored, resulting in a fun tie dyes appearance...happy accident!
