Come play with your food (just this once), and turn the colors and textures of the spice cabinet into beautiful holiday art!

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll create one-of-a-kind mosaic ornaments with spices, herbs, seeds, and other natural ingredients. Using laser-cut wooden forms as the base, you’ll arrange colorful spices and botanicals into mosaic-inspired designs, experimenting with color, texture, pattern, and composition along the way.

No artistic experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Each participant will leave with their own finished ornaments, ready to hang on the tree, give as a handmade gift, or display throughout the season.

Capital Confections is a Sacramento tradition. They make the most delicious hand-dipped truffles using some of our spices and sugars! Come check out their offerings. Their truffle boxes make wonderful gifts!

It's back for the second year! Our annual cookie exchange. Bring two dozen of your favorite holiday cookies (preferable made with spices!) and take home a couple dozen assorted cookies from other attendees!
