These delicious nut clusters take our Cajun Spiced Nuts to the next level by drenching them in chocolate! You can use any chocolate you choose - we prefer dark, but milk or even white chocolate would work fine.
Spiced Nut Clusters
- Cajun Spiced Nuts (separate recipe)
- 12oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 TBS butter
- 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- ¼ tsp Kosher Salt
- Cyprus Flake Salt for finishing
Line a baking sheet with parchment. In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun Seasoning and Kosher Salt. Place the chocolate chips and butter in the top of a double boiler set over barely simmering water. Stir until completely melted and smooth. Stir in the spice/salt mix until completely combined. Remove from heat.
Working quickly, add the Cajun Spiced Nuts to the melted chocolate and stir to coat completely. Using a tablespoon or small scoop, portion the nuts out onto the prepared baking sheet – making them as large or small as you’d like. Sprinkle each with a bit of Cyprus Flake Salt. Allow to setup at cool room temperature for a couple of hours, or cover and place in the refrigerator for about an hour to expedite the process.
Store in a tightly covered container for 2-3 weeks.
Makes about 30 – 1 ½” clusters
