These iced tea popsicles made with herbal tea fresh berries are a quick and refreshing way to beat the heat!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups/600ml of filtered water
- 1 ounce herbal tea of choice
- 3 Tablespoons raw honey or to taste
- Fresh fruit of choice (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan on stovetop or in microwave. Remove from heat and add in tea (can use a muslin or other tea bag to save the straining step). Cover and let steep 15-20 minutes.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer pressing firmly on solids. Stir in honey. Cool to room temperature or chill, covered in the refrigerator.
- Pour tea into popsicle molds and add sliced fruit if using.
- Freeze until solid - overnight recommended.
Suggestions/Variations:
- We like using Blueberry Bliss or Strawberry Lemonade Tea
- Add your favorite fruit - sliced strawberries, peaches or blueberries work well!
- Want it creamy? Add 1/2 cup of half and half or favorite non dairy beverage.
- Also great poured into decorative ice cube trays - keep your iced tea cool without watering it down!
The possibilities are endless!
