Cajun Spiced Nuts

Cajun Spiced Nuts

These nuts are quick and easy to prepare, and make a delicious snack or gift. Use any combination of nuts you'd like, but be sure they are raw. You can also amp up the spice by adding more Cajun Seasoning, or feel free to try a different spice blend entirely!

Cajun Spiced Nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, kosher salt and Cajun Seasoning. In a large bowl, combine nuts with corn syrup and toss to completely coat. Sprinkle spice mixture over nuts and stir to coat. Spread coated nuts in an even layer on a sheet pan lined with parchment or a Silpat. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, tossing  2-3 times until nuts are deep brown in color. Remove from oven and toss a bit more to separate nuts. Allow to cool completely on baking sheet.

Store cooled nuts in an airtight container for up to one month.
