Spicy Mosaics for the Holidays and Beyond
Spicy Mosaics for the Holidays and Beyond
TICKETS GO ON SALE
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3rd at 8AM
Come play with your food (just this once), and turn the colors and textures of the spice cabinet into beautiful holiday art!
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll create one-of-a-kind mosaics with spices, herbs, seeds, and other natural ingredients. Using laser-cut wooden forms as the base, you’ll arrange colorful spices and botanicals into mosaic-inspired designs, experimenting with color, texture, pattern, and composition along the way.
No artistic experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Each participant will leave with their own finished mosaic(s), ready to hang on the tree, give as a handmade gift, or display throughout the season.
Sunday, November 22nd
4:00–5:30 p.m.
Meet Your Instructor:

Margaret Teichert has been making art for more than 20 years, following her curiosity wherever it leads. Over the years, that has meant working with clay, glass, paint, wood, and just about anything else that catches her eye (including spices)!
A constant in her work is a love of reclaimed and upcycled materials. She enjoys finding beauty and possibility in things that have been overlooked, discarded, or simply need a second act. For Margaret, half the fun is figuring out what something might become next.
Her work is playful, experimental, and always evolving, mostly because she has yet to meet a medium she isn’t willing to try. You can find her on instagram at @MargsMakesThings
